Chinook is the culmination of over 75 years of paddling experience. Our founders are competitors in Outrigger and Dragonboating, with world experience at K-1 C-1, C-2 and OC-X meets in Europe, Asia and Hawaii. Our goal is to bring our customers the highest quality paddling equipment at the lowest price point. We do that by involving our athletes from the ealiest stages of design and prototyping, through production and testing to create a truly robust and application-appropriate final product. We can afford to take time and care in manufacturing and each piece from the workshop is inspected and tested by paddlers themselves. The company principals come from backgrounds in marathon, flatwater, dragonboat and outrigger canoe racing and all have successful records at various levels of international and domestic competition.
